Nazareth Author Recognized with Award for Work

The Morning Call reports (read it here) that a Nazareth author, Fern Hill, was recognized for her historical-fiction book about Charley Parkhurst, a California Gold-Rush era woman, who hid her gender to work as a stage coach driver.  The award is from the Women Writing of the West society and it will be presented at a ceremony at UCLA.

The book is titled, “Charley's Choice: The Life and Times of Charley Parkhurst” and is published by Infinity.
