Andy’s Fan Page continued his coverage of legion baseball now that the teams are in the national tournament competing in Illinois and West Virginia.
Clonehenge posts a tri-fecta featuring a candyhenge, along with a tale of CandyLand the game, a trilothon (I’m learning so many irrelevant facts on this site;-), and a lakeside, seamonster inspired seahenge.
Steaming Cup of Joe visited Musikfest and laments the choice of many youth who chose ketchup on their hot dogs instead of mustard.
Lehigh Valley Ramblings again has plenty of coverage across Northampton and Lehigh County politics. One issue that was covered over the course of the week was the special election for the 24th Senate Seat which impacts several counties and would cost upward of $100,000 to conduct. There was also a story on the Nazareth Library/Colbert report, which included reference to yours truly and the manner in which I make posts. Great coverage of local news and happenings as always.
Tatamy Happenings – big thumbs up to Chris at Tatamy Happenings – not only did this weekly round up ‘guilt’ him into getting a great post covering a range of local issues, but he is going to a Library Board meeting and exploring what the impact would be to support the library and whether or not residents really care about doing so. Chris writes his blog on Tatamy, but is also a member of Borough Council. Regardless of what the decision is, I think the right thing to do is have the conversation and that is what he is doing – great job!
Weird Nazareth reports on Nazareth Quartz at Black Rock and has a post on the Library/Colbert issue as well as the haunting of the Newburg Inn.
Taking a break – Breakfast in the Valley, From House to Home, and Lower Nazareth Forum,
