$50,000 in Jewelry Stolen in LNT

The Morning Call reports on a burglary in Lower Nazareth Township on Nazareth Pike (read the report here).

According to the story, a 22 year old man, used a hidden spare key to an apartment and stole $50,000 worth of jewelry.  Police have charged him with “burglary, trespassing, theft, receiving stolen property, conspiracy to commit theft and conspiracy to commit burglary.”

The story also notes he had a ‘look-out’ who was also charged and that the two men sold the jewelry at a Phillipsburg shop for $2900.

The story doesn’t say if the men sold all the jewelry, but if they did, it would seem they either accepted a very bad deal or the jewelry was grossly over-valued.
