The Morning Call reports (read it here) that the Lower Nazareth Township Supervisors’ restrictions on IDI’s proposed warehouse complex between Hecktown Road and Northwood Avenue were upheld in appellate court.
The complex will be built on 91 acres, there will be 3 warehouses with 1.2 million square feet of space, and it is expected that it will result in a 1000 additional vehicles a day on the connecting roads.
Ironically, the people who most complained about the Lower Nazareth facility were residents of Palmer, on which the complex borders, and the article ends with this statement:
In response to the restrictions, a regional center for Porsche Cars North America was built at the Chrin Commerce Centre in Palmer Township, instead of the Lower Nazareth site.
