NAZARETH AREA HOLIDAY HOUSE TOUR
The 2nd annual Nazareth Area Holiday House Tour will take place on Saturday, December 12, 2009, from 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. The Nazareth Cultural and Arts Commission has established this fundraiser to support the Nazareth Center for the Arts located at 30 Belvidere Street. Volunteers have been working diligently during the past year to transform this building, which previously housed the Vigilance Hose Company No. 1, into an art gallery and venue for musical performances. In addition to the Nazareth Center for the Arts, nine other properties will be included on the house tour. Four homes are located in Nazareth and five in Bushkill Township. An added feature in each home will be art displayed by a local artist and live music performed by local musicians.
Tickets for this holiday event cost $20 and include a multi-page booklet with maps and descriptions of the homes. During the advance sale currently in progress, tickets can be purchased at five Nazareth businesses. They are Brian’s Professional Floor Covering, 101 S. Broad Street; Copiers Inc Café & Deli, 6 S. Main Street; Donahoe Farms Floral & Garden, 589 East Lawn Road; Nazareth Borough Office, 134 S. Main Street; and Nazareth Floral Design, 66 S. Main Street. On the day of the tour, tickets will only be available at the Nazareth Center for the Arts, 30 Belvidere Street.
