The Express-Times has an article on the use of memory boxes to assist those in the Skyview Neighborhood in the Extended Care section of Moravian Hall Square (read the article here).
The boxes assist those with Alzheimers and similar diseases. They are shadow boxes with personal reminders of significant people and aspects of their life. They help prompt and recall memories for the individual.
