This year I joined the Nazareth Area Chamber of Commerce and recently I got involved with their Technology Committee. The Committee is going to be presenting a series of programs related to technology this year and the first takes place this Friday:
Tech Talks: An Introduction to Social Media

Twitter, Facebook, You Tube, LinkedIn – what each site is and how you can start exploring the world of Social Media that afternoon! This program will be presented by Jenn Marcum – Jenn’s Computer Training & Kim Hellwig – RCN
Tech Talks are given by members of the Nazareth Area Chamber of Commerce Technology Committee. Tech Talks provide a comfortable, informal setting for Chamber members to learn about new technologies and discuss possible implementations at their businesses and organizations. The Technology Committee of the Nazareth Area Chamber of Commerce coordinates the Tech Talks presentations with help from members knowledgeable in the topics being discussed.
Tech Talks are held in the Fraunfelder Room of the Memorial Library of Nazareth & Vicinity, located at 295 E. Center St. Nazareth, PA from Noon - 1:00 p.m. Each session is $10 per person to account for any materials or speaker fees. RSVP to 610-759-9188 or email lynnsp@nazarethlibrary.org
