"The Great Nazareth Carnival" sponsored by the Vigilance Hose Company No. 1 and the Nazareth Area Kiwanis Club, will be held this Wednesday, June 16th thru Saturday, June 19th at the Nazareth Borough Park.

The carnival will start at 6 pm and end at 11 pm each night. Bingo starts at 7 and ends at 10.

Wednesday's entertainment will be Nazareth's own "POINT 0 8". On Thursday, "Flirtin with the Mob" will take stage at 7pm. Friday's entertainment will be "Crazy Heart" and on Saturday "Uncle Smiley" Will wrap up the show.

The Carnival features over 18 rides and attractions.

There will be plenty of food; hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, steak sandwiches, chicken fingers, french fries, clams, soda, beer, pizza and of course our famouse pierogies. The Carnival stands will also have cotton candy, candy apples and all the other great "carnival food" that all parents and children appreciate. The Nazareth Lions Club will be selling ice cream.

All the monies raised from this carnival go to the Fire Company's Equipment fund and the Kiwanis "Help us Help the Children Fund". All monies will be used within the Borough of Nazareth.

We are still seeking volunteers to help. If you wish to volunteer some time, please call Carl Strye, Jr. at 484-239-3146.
