Want to thank the reader who pointed out an article by the Morning Call's Keith Groller on the Nazareth Connie Mack baseball team (read it here).
More important than winning the Lehigh Valley title this year, was doing it in honor of coach Ray Wasileswki's wife Jessica, who passed away at age 54 of cancer. The two were married 35 years and many of the players have known the two since age 12 according to the article.
Groller concluded his article with these words, "Considering their compassion for their coach, this Nazareth team is not only a baseball champion, but also big winners in the game of life."
