While the Blue Valley Farm Show doesn’t take place in Nazareth, the Express-Times article on the event highlights Lower Nazareth 8th grade student Matthew Fehnel (read it here). Matthew raises a steer and will be showing it at the Farm Show this year. He spends two hours a day taking care of his animal. The article also addresses how young children raising a variety of animals learn the trade and learn to cope with the sale of their animal at a young age.
