Rash of Bad News in the Area

The Express Times has lately had seemingly nothing but bad news…maybe not all that new, but here is a run down:

·         Trio shoplifts $900 worth of merchandise from Kohl’s including a Nazareth man (read it here)

·         A Bushkill woman and her adult son were charged with beating her husband and his step-father in their home (read it here)

·         An Upper Nazareth father was charged with making terroristic threats and other violations following an incident in which his daughter had an incident with three girls after a football game at the Shafer playground, she got her father, brought him back, and he threatened the girls (read it here)

·         A Plainfield man scammed a Nazareth woman out of $400 by claiming to be her son in need of money to help a friend having legal trouble (read it here)

·         An Easton man was charged with stealing a forklift from a Nazareth company and selling it for scrap. He received $1,130 for the forklift that he had a towing company pick up and deliver to the yard, and the cost to replace the forklift is $75,000 (read it here)
