The Morning Call reports that Bottom Dollar Food is opening its first store in the Lehigh Valley today, and has plans to open one at Jandy Blvd. and Bethlehem Pike presumably near Tractor Supply (read the article here).
The store is a subsidiary of Food Lion, has 35-45 employees per store, and is much like a Food Lion with a more limited assortment. While the Bottom Dollar chain has moved into PA and the Lehigh Valley, the article notes there are no plans to do the same with Food Lion.
