The Nazareth Blue Eagle Marching Band captured their 3rd USSBA Group IV National Championship last Saturday at the Naval Academy stadium in Annapolis, MD. With a score of 97.400, they beat out 20 other bands in Group IV Open competition from as far north as Massachusetts and as far south as Georgia. Their hard work and dedication, which has earned the respect of many of the high school students and staff, has once again paid off in another national title. They had won the Group IV USSBA National Championships in 2007 & 2008, as well as USSBA Grand National Championships in those same years, beating all six groups encompassing over 100 bands. Thursday (11/11) evening, there will be a special year-end celebration starting at 7:30pm in the High School LGI. Everybody is welcome to attend. Doors open at 6:30pm.
