Tax Forms at the Library

Forms for individuals filing 2010 federal and state income tax will be available at the Memorial Library of Nazareth & Vicinity located at 295 E. Center St. Nazareth, PA 18064, starting in January.

While the Library will carry the more standard forms for individuals in hard copy, some specialized forms, or those for businesses, can only be accessed from the IRS website. Patrons can print them out at the Library for 10 cents per page.

“With the IRS no longer mailing out tax forms to individuals, some people have questions on how to get their forms,” says Director Lynn Snodgrass-Pilla.

“Our library is happy to assist patrons with finding information on the IRS site, although we can’t offer any actual tax advice.”

Please be aware that the printing and distribution of many forms was delayed pending the approval of the Tax Relief, Unemployment Insurance Reauthorization, and Job Creation Act of 2010, which was signed by President Obama on December 17. Delayed forms include Form 1040, Form 1040A, Instructions 1040, and Instructions 1040A, as well as many others.

For more information on tax forms at the Library, please call 610-759-4932 during regular library hours. A link to the IRS page can be found on the library website at www.nazarethlibrary.org
