Northampton County Councilperson Ron Angle has backed off the fight against the Gracedale Ballot Referendum saying if voters were educated to the costs they will vote against it according to an article in the Express-Times (read it here).
Angle states keeping Gracedale will mean a County budget increase of at least 15%.
Blogger Bernie O’Hare intends to continue to fight the referendum by challenging the names on the petition.
Judge Stephen Baratta will review if the referendum violates the Home Rule Charter that governs the County.
