LNT Reveals Alternative Energy Ordinance

The Express-Times reports that Lower Nazareth Township has released its alternative energy regulations relating to the placement of solar panels, wind mills, etc on residential and commercial properties (read the article here).

Reading the article, I am blown away by the comment "The idea is for a homeowner or merchant to save a little on energy costs through the use of solar panels, not make a profit, supervisor James Pennington said."

So the township BOS is now in the business of telling home owners how they can/can't make money?
