Call for Bands & Performers

The Nazareth Center for the Arts is seeking bands and performers for some upcoming events taking place in Nazareth.

Barony Band Slam Competition: fundraiser for the Center. Each Thursday in July 4 bands perform at Borough Park in Nazareth. Judge score combined with fan score (based on amount of donations given to each bands' 'bucket') for weekly winner. Each weekly winner will be able to perform at our stage during Martin on Main. Aug 4 weekly winners will compete, same format, winner receives 4 hours of studio time, an Olympus cd quality audio recorder, and paid performance at Thrill on Hill featuring Craig Thatcher Band, Large Flowerheads, Little Red Rooster Blues Band, Eva Catherine & Lonesome Souls, and one TBA (takes place 8/21). We'd like to announce entrants next week reply to nazaretharts@gmail.com to enter.

Nazareth Garden Tour: fundraiser for the Center featuring gardens in the Nazareth area, each garden will feature music and art. We are looking for individuals interested in playing for a two hour block on Saturday, June 18. We can't pay performers on this day, local musicians or students are welcome to participate.

Nazareth Farmers Market: our Center is helping to find musicians to perform Saturday mornings in the Circle during the Farmers' Market from 10-12 for tips. Again, this can be either performing musicians or students interested in performing publicly.

These fundraisers are critical to our Center remaining open as we are trying to provide a great venue where performers are the focal point and people can enjoy their musicianship at an affordable cost.

If interested in any of the above, please contact nazaretharts@gmail.com
