Nazareth's Music Heritage

Nazareth has a very rich music heritage, so I shouldn’t have been too surprised to learn that the 2nd known location in America where a Beethoven Symphony was performed was here on July 13, 1813, according to a new book Beethoven in America.

I found an excerpt of the book by Michael Broyles’ first chapter here.

Also interesting to read about the Moravian church in the past tense and our location described as being in the foothills of the Pocono Mountains, which I guess we are.
