Brian Halloran

Saturday, October 8, 2011 | 7:30 - 10:00 p.m.

Singer/songwriter Brian Halloran has been performing alternative and indie pop and rock in and around NYC for over ten years. Prior to that, he was a founding member of the Chicago-based band, Citrus. Between 2007-09, Brian toured with Irish-rock band, Ceann. He also just completed a successful crowd-funding campaign at to finish his new album, "News From The Queen Victoria", recently released 2011.

Julia and Diane are an acoustic duo. Julia is Brian's sister and she recorded Free OJ with PBnJ, a duo with another brother Patrick. Expect to hear Julia join Brian for a few songs by other family members. Julia and Diane performed two tweener sets at this year's Thrill on the Hill.

Gallery Hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays from noon until 2:00 p.m. and the first Saturday of the month from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. except on holiday weekends.

October Gallery: Features the art work of Nazareth's Kevin Broad. Reception Saturday, October 1, 2011 from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. And on Sunday, October 30, 2011 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. with artist's remarks at 3:00 p.m.

Mike McLaughlin

Saturday, October 15, 2011 | 8:00 - 9:30 p.m.

Mike McLaughlin, touring to promote his new CD being released in September, visits the Center for the first time.  His music draws from country to rock to folk and blues. Says Mike, "I have been taught by listening to some of the greats like Dylan, Clapton, Harrison, Petty, to all the southern Rock boys…you name it I’m there student. I in no way can compare my talent to greats such as this, but I have learned a great deal from these people and from the musicians I have encountered over the years of playing.

Maggie Spike & Megan Lee

Saturday, October 22, 2011 | 7:30 - 10:00 p.m.

Megan Lee and Maggie Spike will both perform sets. Megan Lee is inspired by acoustic singer/songwriters like Dar Williams, Shawn Colvin, Indigo Girls and Suzanne Vega and began performing in 2009. In the Spring of 2009, Megan began performing locally and in 2010 she performed at the Center during Martin on Main, returning again that fall for a solo show.

Berks County, PA natives Peggy and Eric Gernerd are the musical duo, MAGGIE SPIKE. MAGGIE SPIKE are singer/songwriters whose music takes you to a place where melody, rhythm, harmony and poignant lyrics converge to create a sound that is easily accessible and highly entertaining.

Drawing from a mixed bag of musical styles such as folk, rock, jazz, Celtic, reggae and world music, they perform their self-penned songs with passionate appeal and soulful insight. Their latest cd, “Sol Paradise” is a world/jazz/folk influenced cd and draws from the musical talents of 20 musicians from Berks and Lancaster Counties, and the Lehigh Valley.
