- A reader sent a note indicating picketers outside the textile buildings (A & H?) on South Green Street and by the ball field. If anyone has more information on this to share it'd be much appreciated.
- LNES students collected a million tabs that will be donated to the Ronald McDonald house. The tabs were collected over two years and will bring in a donation of about $400.00. See the Morning Call picture here, read the Express-Times article here.
- The Morning Call also has a short article and photo on Elizabeth Segreaves of Lower Nazareth Township who was born with a cataract and has recently with her Girl Scout Troop raised money to help families who need to purchase eyeware for their children with cataracts.
