Park and Ride on Route 33 to Gain 1100 Spaces

In what is expected to be a two-phase construction, the Park and Ride on Route 33 is to be expanded from its current 220 spots to between 1300 and 1500 total parking spaces according to an article in the Express-Times (read it here).

Anyone who uses this lot either on occasion or daily will attest to the challenge of finding a spot if you aren't there before 8:00 a.m. so it would seem the expansion is much needed and officials in both PA and NJ see it as a way of reducing potential traffic on route 78.

They should have built it bigger the first time.
