WAHOO! The Nazareth Blue Eagle Marching Band traveled to Annapolis Maryland and performed at the USSBA National Championships on Saturday November 7, 2008.
The band placed first in group 4 open being awarded the group 4 National Champions, later in the evening the band found out that they also won the 2008 USSBA Grand National Title, this is a huge accomplishment since this was out of groups 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 which consisted of approximately 80 bands. The band also had the highest score on record in USSBA history with a score of 98.575. This is the second time that the band won the title of USSBA Grand National Champions. USSBA will be presenting the band and the staff with their trophy and banner at a date to be announced. Congratulations to the band members, Mr. Boandl and staff.
