NASD Facilities Upgrades

The Morning Call reports (read it here) that the NASD will be spending nearly a half million on facilities upgrades as approved at Monday's meeting including:

• $100,000 - pave and resurface the MS recreation area (read new playground at the soon to be Intermediate School)
• $31,000 - to replace sidewalks at Bushkill
• $85,000 - to replace carpets at the MS and Lower Nazareth
• $50,000 - for facade repairs at Shafer
• $40,000 - to replace lockers at the HS
• $75,000 - to replace the heating/ac in HS Gym
• $35,000 - to install cameras outside Shafer
• $155,000 - over three years for lawn care at the schools
