Borough Residents - Best Read?

According to councilman Mike Davis the annual library report has been released and among the interesting information he noted:
  • Borough residents most use the library,
  • 55,000 people used the library,
  • Circulation was 138,000, and
  • 18,000 individuals registered to use the library.
He also noted that one municipality failed to meet the Library's requested funding level. While he did not name names he was hopeful that in the future they all may.

Personally speaking - given the state cutbacks of library funding, it is deplorable that one local township, in an area where the average home sale hovers around $325,000, can't find a way to fund the library. The residents of this particular township ought to be ashamed of their elected officials.

I gave my opinion, what's yours? Post feedback by using the comments.
