State House Passes Tax Relief Bill - Tied to Slots

On June 15 at 6:25 p.m. WFMZ-TV reported (read full text):

"After years of discussion and political debate, Pennsylvania homeowners are finally getting a property tax break. Last night house bill 39 opened the door for hundreds of dollars of savings for homeowners. But some say it's not enough.

WFMZ's Jaccii Farris joins us in the studio with the details. The measure has been met with criticism and acclaim. The Bulk of the cuts will be funded by a loan from the lottery fund..while the rest will Have to wait until slot machines come to Pennsylvania. "


The report goes on to say that the average Nazareth homeowner will save $468 per year.
