Some can't see opportunity, others seize it.
As soon as Bennigan's part-owner, a Nazareth area resident, came across newsovercoffee.com he asked if I could do a restaurant review. I waited to respond because I did want the focus on Nazareth, and at the time I had maybe a dozen page hits a week (a far cry from the 500+ registered this week).
I don't think there is much argument that the focus of this site is on the community of Nazareth, including its residents.
When I approached this individual about using the Gift Certificate raffle to get new people to visit the site by handing out small cards at the Block Party and Nazareth Day he didn't give me one, but two. No, I didn't pocket the other. I'm saving it for later.
Yesterday he gave me a menu featuring Bennigan's Guinness Grill. Yes, as in Guinness Stout.
You'll get the idea in a moment:
Appetizers:
- Guinness Glazed Popcorn Shrimp.
- Guinness Glazed Boneless Chicken Wings.
- Black & Tan - Guinness & Bass Ale.
- Guinness Glazed Chicken & Shrimp
- Guinness Glazed "Oh, Baby" Back Ribs
- Guinness Glazed Top Sirloin
- Death by Chocolate
I can't wait to get there myself, but my wife and I will be using a coupon from a fundraising book we purchased (from the printer who did my handout cards), and I can't wait to tell you how it all was.
Alright, so now that you're over the fact that the restaurant is in Bethlehem, and you understand the Nazareth connection, what are you waiting for...go enter the contest: right here.

Happy Anniversary Ross, and what a fun idea to give away a gift certificate! I hope I win!
