Upcoming Events - Mark Your Calendar

It is tough to keep on top of everything, but there are a few events I'd like to ask you to keep top of mind:

• Evening on Main Street, September 9, 4-9 p.m. This event has really expanded with 22 groups and businesses participating and offering music, food, and entertainment. It is a great opportunity to learn more about the downtown shops and to see you neighbors and friends.
• Borough Council Workshop, August 31, 7:00 p.m. The monthly workshop meeting preceding the Council Business Meeting ought to include more information on the now, two new government center proposals.
• First day of school and School Board Meeting, August 28. The teachers contract expires August 31, so you can expect school to start on the 28th. The Board Meeting begins at 7:30 p.m.

NewsOverCoffee uses Upcoming.org, which is now owned by Yahoo! This service allows anyone to start a group, and then post events for your group. I've created a Nazareth area group (visit the page here). And this is where you will be directed when you click the calendar link.

The idea is to allow all groups in Nazareth to post their upcoming events. The school district has two calendars, one for sports and one for meetings, I have links to these under the school tab, and they are not included on the current calendar (though it someone were ambitious they could try to put them all in).
