Around Town Tonight through the Weekend

Tonight, on Wednesday, September 27, there is a meeting at the Nazareth YMCA for those individuals interested in learning more or participating in the Nazareth Main Street Initiative.

On Thursday, September 28, there is a special meeting of Borough Council at Council Chambers 6:00 p.m. to select an individual to serve as 3rd Ward Councilperson. Following the special meeting is the regular Workshop Meeting.

On Saturday September 30 and October 1 there is a "Northampton County Open Gate Farm Tour" from Noon to 4:00 p.m. presented by the Northampton County Cooperative Extension. This tour will get you up close to area farms including:

• Amore Farms, Greenhouses, Vineyard and Winery, 6821 Steuben Rod, Nazareth (off route 512).
• Burnside Plantation, Inc. 1461 Schoenersville Rd., Bethlehem (near Martin Tower).
• Buzas' Greenhouse, 3927 Newburg Rd., Lower Nazareth (near route 33)
• Clear Springs Farm, 206 Garr Road, Easton (in Forks past Braden's Airport).
• Faust Family Produce, 523 Nazareth Pike, Nazareth (between Nazareth and Newburg on 191).
• Graver Arboretum, 1581 Bushkill Center Road (SUNDAY ONLY - located off rt. 512 in Bushkill). There is a guided 1 hour tour at 3:00 p.m.
  
• Graver Farms, 2791 W. Scenic Drive, Danielsville (Moore Twp, off rt. 946)
• Juniperdale Farms and Produce Crib, 1015 Browntown Road, Nazareth (SUNDAY ONLY - off Belfast Exit rt. 33, north Fulmer Road).

Also on Saturday September 30 (rescheduled from September 2) is Bull Madness Rodeo at Edgewood Valley Farms (off route 946 - behind Gracedale).
