County Council Sunshine Law Suit Dropped, Will Nazareth See the Light?

In an article by Paul Mushick of the Morning Call (read it here), Bernie O'Hare has dropped a sunshine law suite against Northampton County Council because Council has agreed to receive further instruction from attorney's on the law.

In the story it states:

Northampton County Council and Bernie O'Hare have agreed to settle a lawsuit alleging council broke the state's open meetings law.

O'Hare said Friday that he will withdraw his lawsuit because council members agreed to have lawyers instruct them on the law, often referred to as the Sunshine Act.

Hopefully Nazareth's Council will see that they don't have to continue to fight, but instead be open to learning more about how to be meet the requirements and be as open as possible with its citizenry.
