Thanks to the reader who forwarded me a link to the Morning Call article reporting an accident this morning that involved a Jennings Transportation Bus and four Nazareth students (all students ok).

It appeared from the article that the bus was an 'innocent victim' in this as it was stopped a car ran a red light, struck another car and one of the two hit the bus.
The reader also asked why a Jennings bus would be in Catasaqua. State law mandates if transportation is provided to students by the district, all students must receive transportation, not only those in the public school. Students in private or parochial schools must be bused up to ten miles from the district border and if the student has an IEP they must be transported to wherever the IEP indicates.
