Both the Express-Times (read it here) and Morning Call (read it here) report that the Lincoln Textile redevelopment into high-end condos and townhouses has moved from Zoning to the Planning Commission with a meeting tonight at 8:00 p.m.
Developers Nicholas Sabatine and Corrigan presented plans for 18, 1800 sq. ft. multi-level townhouses and 33, 1600 sq. ft. one-floor apartments. All units would have at least two bedrooms and would sell for $250,000 to $350,000. Additionally, there would be a homeowners association to ensure it remained well maintained over time.
Several variances were requested and granted and the planning commission will need to view and approve the plans tonight at 8:00 p.m. for the project to move forward.
