Prior to tonight Borough Council meeting (about 6:30 p.m.), Ken Trionfo of Northampton Community College Design Class will present some of his students' work that has been displayed for the past several weeks in Nazareth.
The gala for the work was reported on here and some additional photos are available here.
The work is purely student projects and not commissioned or based on RFP's from the Borough.

We desparately NEED a place for a Nazareth Memorabilia museum.
Am surprised that 2:04 's comment has not been deleted. It is crude and not worthy of recognition. There is NOTHING constructive about such comments. We will never buid a better community with that kind of attitudexummv
methinks 2:04 just likes to agitate.
His/her attitude does nothing to promote progress and improvement.
Apologies to those who have presented plans for a community theater and whatever to enhance 33 Belvidere Street . May they hear better comments from better-minded people
Sorry, while I normally have the opportunity to monitor what is going on during the day, I was in Philadelphia today without internet access (beautiful day to enjoy the Zoo:-).
I agree the comment was rude and made no contribution to the conversation.
The design class was not looking even at necessarily practical application from the standpoint of a business model, but only what potential the building held from a design standpoint.
I did have a conversation with someone not too long ago about having a museum for Nazareth. While the Moravian Historical Society does a wonderful job, their focus is specific to the Moravians and their contribution.
There is a Nazareth Heritage Society, not sure how active they are, but they could help to provide additional insight into a project of this type, so too could the Borough and Downtown Association.
I think this would be a wonderful contribution, but like anything will take money and funding.
Nazareth Heritage has been responsible for the Candletours over many years. A handful of loyal members have kept the group going. It has become a struggle to find new members willing to take an active part. Interest, enthusiasm, commitment----these are necessary ingredients to keep any group active. And this is what is also needed ---along with funds and a "place" to establish a Nazareth Memoriblia Museum
