Nazareth Police Chief Bruce Ruch passed away according to the Express-Times (read it here) and Morning Call (read it here). Chief Ruch had pancreatic cancer and resigned from his position a few months ago.
A member of the Nazareth police force for over twenty years, Ruch was well liked and regarded. Having had the opportunity to know him, my thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.
