Site Reminders and Updates

With the school year fast approaching and summer coming to a close, I wanted to mention a few reminders:

• In the spring I created a site standards and expectations. This is somewhat like a code of conduct and emphasizes civility and constructive comments. I put this online today and it can be read here. With many new readers coming on board I thought it was good to post and not simply assume it was understood.
• I've begun to get announcements from booster clubs and sports leagues in regard to their teams and sign-ups. These are being posted in the Sports & Activities site. You can view recent posts to this page on the left sidebar (bottom) or simply visit the link.
• If you are a part of a youth or school sponsored club, team, or activity, please forward your site link or updates on your activities to post. Send them to editor@newsovercoffee.com.
• If you attend meetings or events and want to let others know about them, email me and I'll post them with or without your 'byline' (ie name).
• Also, feel free to send comments or suggestions for posts to me by email.
