Thanks to the reader who pointed this story out from Channel 69 news.
According to Channel 69 a black bear was found at 124 N. Broad Street (read the article here).
The bear was estimated to weigh 300 pounds and was about 2.5 years old. It was tranquilized and released.
I had also heard a few weeks ago that a bear was found in the woods just north of Forest Drive.
