Safety Tips:
1. Keep all doors and windows locked, especially when your not at home.
2. If you have a house alarm, use it.
3. Make note (description of individuals, vehicles involved, and license plate numbers) of any unusual activity in your neighborhood, especially around your neighbor's house. DO NOT CONFRONT THEM, CALL 911.
4. If you are going on vacation, or going to be away from home for an extended time, notify the CRPD that you will be away, and ask a neighbor if they would keep a eye on your house during your absence.
5. Use light timers for nighttime hours, and make sure newspapers do not accumulate in front of your house.
The LNT Neighbor Crime Watch is in the process of creating a web site where you can find safety and program information.
The CRPD cannot be everywhere when crime strikes......We must do our part to assist them in keeping our community safe.
