I would also think the energy management server would be part of the new MS, as it was noted several times the building itself would be a learning tool and one of those learnings would be how energy was used in the building.

Interesting that you called out the classroom items and not the big ticket item, the new field house.
Agree, they should have been included in the build budget, but again, the inability of our administrators to actually plan something right the first time has proved to be the case. Of all these items, I would dump the white boards as they are NOT essential where as phones and networks are.
Now, let's talk about the field house. Does the board and Administrators actually read or hear the news? The economy is in the toilet, yet they want to possibly spend $800K on a new field house. WHY? Why are they willing to propose such high value items in a declining economy for SPORTS?
Kill the field house, we just can't afford it.
I agree that the fieldhouse is not responsible spending at this time, but as I understood this was not approved, only considered.
From a public perspective, the field house provides bathrooms for events held at the stadium. Otherwise it is a maintenance shed, which used to hold (don't know what its purpose is now) the truck and tractors used to cut grass.
Didn't we just build a brand new maintenance building over at the current MS? Now we need another? At the same time we are apparently sub-contracting lawn service? And we now have a turf field, so that doesn't need to be cut.
So what will the new Fieldhouse be used for?
My guess is new bathrooms, ADA compliant, storage for athletic equipment, maybe some offices, coaches room, a weight room, and some space for field related maintenance.
Finally, building at taxpayer expense during a depression is called "Economic Stimulus";-)
Does anyone know if the board hired a new Principal for Bushkill ..I heard they were suppose to this past Monday meeting? If they did, who is he/she? Where did they come from etc?

If I remember right from the board meeting the feild house money is part of the weight room renovation money. Like I said I'm not 100% sure, but I think thats what I heard at the meeting.
As for Bushkills principal as the last meeting no one was hired.
