Now, after two fancy new warehouses have popped up, a new road, apparently called "Prologis Parkway," is blocked off to the common traveler. This is especially bad news to people who try to access Rt. 33 from the Van Buren Road area. They are forced off to the meagerly paved offshoot of Hollo Road that leads to a treacherous stop sign near the Blue Barn at Rt. 248. It's a public safety nightmare and a disaster waiting to happen. For those who have traveled from Van Buren to Hollo and attempted to make a left onto 248 toward route 33, the slight hill blocks ones view, but the danger is compounded because those on 248 traveling west toward Nazareth from Easton are in a drag race with one another as two lanes merge into one over the blind hill.
You have to wonder why the right lane wasn't reduced to right turn only at the light to avoid this situation, but it wasn't and now there is a major hazard on route 248 and as Joe points out a tragic accident awaiting when one attempts to pull out across the drag strip from Hollo to 248.
