When you leave the house you often make sure you have a few dollars on hand, but with rewards programs and points, more often than not I just use a debit or credit card anymore.
I assumed this was typical behavior until I read about Keith Eutsay, 33 of Nazareth, who had over $125,000 in his vehicle when police stopped him for suspected drunken driving on Friday night. As police approached the car, according to the report in the Express-Times (read it here), they saw Eutsay throwing marijuana from the vehicle. Once they arrested him, Eutsay noted there was a large amount of money in the vehicle. When it was searched, police found over $125,000 in cash, marijuana, and counterfeit money.
