Thanks to the friend and reader who pointed this tid bit out to me. As a fan of both Indy car and a tech geek, I was happy to see that Google has code named its Chrome OS netbooks as Mario and Andretti according to a post on electronista (read the full story here). The OS itself is called Indy. Glad to see they are fans, hope they will put money in sponsorship to support the series as well!
The OS is supposed to be super fast, so the name is fitting.
