The Express-Times reports that the NASD sold the Kern House to an individual who plans to open a salon in the downstairs and an apartment upstairs (read the article here).
The NASD sold the property to the Moravian Historical society for $75,000. When the building couldn’t be converted to a museum, the NASD bought it back for $125,000. They have now voted to sell the building to the private individual for $172,000, according to the article.
