NASD Being Sued Over Lack of Services

A family is suing the NASD claiming the district denied their child of special needs services according to an article in the Express-Times (read it here).

The district claims they were compliant and an independent hearing officer supported the NASD in an earlier decision.

This is what happens when you allow foolish legislation to be passed and make no effort to lobby against it. The American Disabilities ACT is not only costly,it was a downright foolish piece of legislation and it is probably unconstitutional. Keep on mind that this legislation gave us Block Scheduling in our schools.
