According to an article in the Morning Call (read it here), two women had cash and credit cards stolen from their purses while they watched a movie on Saturday afternoon at Regal Cinema in Lower Nazareth.
Both women had placed their purse under the seat. Charges were made on the cards in Palmer and Bethlehem Townships.

Unfortunately I have no information about the case, but I want to say they should have applied to the bank the same day and freeze the accounts. The bank can reissue the cards to them and they can continue using the credit accounts, but with a different number.
