JD Malone of the Express-Times has a blog post regarding the new turf at Andrew S. Leh Stadium (read it here). There are also some pictures if you haven't driven by yet.
The article notes that the field is complete, fencing is nearing completion, a new ticket booth is being constructed and stands are being redone for better handicap access.
I'm guessing the handicap access is on the visiting side as the home side already has it.
Also of note was the comment at the Board meeting that they need to complete the fencing because they've already been chasing kids off it. Now I understand it is currently a construction site, but it does make you wonder if the area will be accessible to people as the old track was and how they will lock it down when it is used to connect the Mitchell Avenue Parking lot with the school.
