JD Malone has an article in today's Express-Times (read it here) regarding the Skate Park progress that has been made as announced at the last Council Meeting.
He expands on the dollar figures that were announced by speaking with Councilman Herbst and Mayor Keller.
The support of other townships and municipalities has helped to make this a more regional project and one that will hopefully provide an often marginalized group with a place to call their own. The onus on them, then, will be to see how they use it and respect it in order to gain future/ongoing support from the community.
