Nazareth’s Tyler Grady made an impression with the judges on the opening night of America Idol. Grady sang Marvin Gaye’s “Let’s Get it On” and received four yes votes out of four. Grady was not only remembered for his singing, but for braces on both forearms, the result of having fallen out of a tree of late.
Grady performed locally last year with the Wailing Waters (read some posts here), who were finalists in the Allentown Fair’s Battle of the Bands and WZZO’s Battle of the Bands. The Wailing Waters are all from Nazareth and began playing together in 8th grade - Travis Hobbie (guitar/lead vocals), Tyler Grady (drums/lead vocals), Joe DiMarco (keyboard), and Josh Zullo (bass). The traditional rock/pop rock band has a myspace page:http://www.myspace.comwailingwaters and a web site:http://www.purevolume.com/wailingwaters on either you can listen to original music and learn more about them.
According to their Facebook fan page, Tyler is no longer singing with the band (indicated as “former” lead vocals).
