One of several teen incidents last year has landed one Nazareth area teen in jail according to the Morning Call (read the article here).
Last April, Paul Dutka didn’t have transportation, wanted to see his girlfriend, saw a car in the 900 block of Gove Road with keys in it, and he took it. Later that day police spotted the car, by then reported stolen, and went in pursuit. While being chased Dutka called his mother for her advice and eventually pulled over where the driver’s side window was smashed out by police who pulled him through and tasered him.
Dutka’s parents refused to pay bail so he has already served five months in jail. His sentence is 9 months to two years.
